In 1967, the Federation of American Women’s Clubs Overseas established a foundation to carry on FAWCO’s long tradition of donating to relief organizations, as well as providing educational support to members and their families. The Foundation’s sole purpose is to put into action the Federation of American Women’s Clubs Overseas’ stated interest in the global community by specifically aiding charitable, scientific and educational programs and supporting the rights of women and children throughout the world.
