YOUR ROLE
Supporting Communication and Participation Within Your Club
FAWCO Representatives serve as a liaison between their local club and The FAWCO Foundation, helping share information about Foundation programs, opportunities and initiatives throughout the year.
Representatives play an important role in encouraging participation in Development Grants, Education Awards, fundraising initiatives and conference activities while helping members stay informed about the Foundation’s ongoing impact and work around the world.
Whether sharing updates at club meetings, promoting opportunities through newsletters or helping members connect with Foundation programs, FAWCO Representatives help strengthen communication and engagement across the FAWCO community.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
FAWCO Representatives help support communication, participation and engagement throughout the year by:
- Sharing Foundation updates and opportunities with club members
- Encouraging participation in Development Grants and Education Awards
- Supporting fundraising and conference initiatives
- Promoting Foundation programs and recipient stories
- Helping clubs stay informed about annual activities and deadlines
- Connecting members with Foundation resources and opportunities

How Foundation Programs Work Together
The FAWCO Foundation supports global impact through several interconnected programs that provide educational opportunity, support grassroots initiatives and strengthen community participation across the FAWCO network.
Each program serves a different purpose while working together to support women, children and communities around the world.
Development Grants
Development Grants support grassroots organizations and community-based initiatives nominated by FAWCO clubs around the world.
Clubs help identify projects that align with Foundation priorities and support long-term impact within their communities.
Education Awards
Education Awards provide financial support to FAWCO members and their families pursuing academic and professional goals around the world.
Clubs help promote opportunities and encourage participation within their membership communities.
Target Project
The FAWCO Target Program brings clubs together around a shared multi-year initiative focused on global impact and collective action.
Clubs participate through fundraising activities, awareness campaigns and conference initiatives supporting the current Target Project.
